The Compact Actuators are slightly shorter in overall length to accommodate shorter transoms. They also have 0.25” less travel than the Standard Actuators.
Generally speaking, 21’ and under boats will perform great with a 9” x 9” or 9” x 12” tab. 21’-24’ will prefer the 12” x 12” tab and boats over 24’ will move toward the 12” x 18” tab.
